Afonso Henriques. Until the apparitions of 1917, Fatima was a completely unknown village, but from there, with the amount of pilgrims around the world and the construction of the Sanctuary, Fatima became known worldwide.

- MOSTEIRO DA BATALHA (BATTLE MONASTERY)
The Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitoria, also called Monastery of Batalha is arguably one of the most beautiful pieces of the Portuguese and European architecture.

Nowadays, the Monastery of Batalha is considered a UNESCO World Heritage place.
- NAZARÉ
It was just a wave. But not some wave. A gigantic wave that surfaced in North Beach surfed by the world surf legend Garrett Mcnamara in 2011. This overwhelming wave, over 30 meters high, has forever changed the destination of this picturesque coastal city known as Nazaré. Or as surfers say: Naza!
But Nazaré is not just a breathtaking wave. In fact, Nazaré is a charming fishing town and a holiday resort full of color, where one feels the enormous importance of tradition. Nazaré grew in a very sustainable way over the years, doing justice to the common heritage and historical memory.

Within walls, we find a well-preserved castle and a labyrinth of streets and white houses that enchant those who walk there. Among Manueline porticoes, flowered windows and small openings, there are several reasons to visit, good examples of the religious and civil architecture of the village's golden age.
